Dons vs Hibs - Friday

This is a huge game now. We need to regain composure after meagre showing on the weekend. We keep saying it, and I know we all know we can expect a bit of an up and down season, but we really should be seeing more of the up than the down by now.

Boyle is out which is a boost, but we’re still our own worst enemy and do the attacking for the opposition. We do have a reasonable record against them at home, so there is reason for illogical optimism.

2-1, mccrorie and Miovski

This is sort of game we should be looking to win if we are going to get third. Both teams have been on decent runs aside from thumpings from the Glasgow bigots. Expect Coulson to come back in for McKenzie although not convinced that will really help us defensively. Richardson should be dropped but not sure how we do that without playing McCrorie at right back.

2-1 Miovski and Lopes.

If Goodwin is going to stick with 2 up top then I think we need to give Miovski and Lopes a bit longer to form a partnership as the two before making a change. No reflection on Ramirez as he has looked decent when he has come off the bench.

I don't feel that miovski deserves to keep his place. He had about two touches at fir park. ( Granted one was a goal ). Then I'm not even sure he was playing at Ibrox. Total impostor when the going gets tough.

Take out the penalties and he's nowhere near as prolific as Ramirez in his first season.

Seems pig headed from Jim.

* Guaranteed he'll score three now *

It's a great snapshot of correct and inocrrect use of VAR - offside & keeper off line, these are easily checked, clear cut, sensible uses of VAR.  Duk's dive/penalty though, I'm still of the opinion that VAR should be used to check that there was a clear and obviou foul, and if not, it should not be awarded.
