SeeBass
ABSOLUTELY LOVING THIS REMIX OF MY ALL-TIME FAVOURITE SONG! There's bits which remind me of the Streets of Rage game on Sega Megadrive! What do folk think?? BigAl
Just paid a visit to my loft and been raking through the boxes and boxes of CD's, cassettes and vinyl I have accumulated over the years. To say my musical tastes have changed over the decades is a major understatement. Decided I going to share with you all / bore you with my trip down memory lane as I post what I happen to be listening to at the time of typing, Starting with this beauty Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/635-what-are-you-listening-to/page/97/#findComment-259599

BigAl
Forty five years old this year. By fuck this is still an album and a half (well actually it is a double album) The variety of musical genres they put on here is immense, with a bit of punk, rockabilly, ska, jazz, R&B and reggae. To the youngsters on here, if you've never listened to this before, do yourself a favour and go listen Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/635-what-are-you-listening-to/page/97/#findComment-259999

BigAl
1977 orginal vinyl release. All close to eleven minutes of Fools Overture sounds fantastic still. Reekie_Red
Been waiting 8 years for Nero's third album. Two of the band members have been off living a normal life and raising a child. But this, their 3rd album, is a brilliant nod to their first two, whilst bringing theirs under bang up to date at the same time Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/635-what-are-you-listening-to/page/97/#findComment-260082

BigAl
No posts in this topic for over a year. Not good enough Given the influx of new members, surely amongst them there must be some with decent musical tastes, so get sharing what you're listening to Given I've just purchased tickets to go and see this man at St Lukes next year thought I'd dig this vinyl out and slap it on the turntable whilst working this morning. Don Julio
This is a dangerous flippin' thread for me. Not going to be able to resist. Expect to be flooded with endless Trashcan Sinatras songs... But first, my undoubted favourite song of 2025, which is ironic given I generally have an aversion to concept albums, is this: Once it gets under your skin, very hard to get it out again. Haunting. TheDonbytheDee
I listen to loads of music on a daily basis, mainly through the radio, but got a fairly large collection of my own that I like to give a blast too. I'm off to see The Skids on Saturday night and then have Squeeze/Madness on Sunday night, so been blasting a bit of their albums the past few days, to get in the mood for the concerts. I like Madness a lot, but only going this time around, to see Squeeze. Quote Link to comment https://dev.donstalk.co.uk/topic/635-what-are-you-listening-to/page/97/#findComment-272239
